You would understand me

I should stop starting every blog by stating the obvious of how I haven’t blogged in awhile. Yes, I haven’t. Not that I didn’t want to, I didn’t have the time. Ok, I lied. I was busy catching up on my reading and *cough9gagcough*.
To date, I’m extremely pleased with how some of the difficult students are responding to work. They come in for extra maths class during break time, show a little more enthusiasm in class and sometimes, they do so well..I want to cry. It is amazing how children respond when you encourage them positively. Amazing.
At the same time, the students I teach after school hours are also coming along great! This year, my task was to help six Indonesian refugees who are oh-so-keen to learn as much English as they can. They even asked me if I can have lessons five times a week. Heh..
So, yes..in the midst of all the madness and constant voice of screaming children in my head..it’s been good.
This year, I even exchanged my #foreveralone status for a nice boyfriend
