You know it’s true

The inevitable truth of life is that whether you do good or bad, someone will always have something to say about you. Always.
Just when you think you’ve got the perfect dress, someone comes and tells you otherwise. While you admire your brand new hairdo, your best friends think its crap. And so, the cycle continues. Whatever you do, will constantly be questioned and criticized.
This statement holds even more truth now that we’re at the final stages of my sister’s wedding plans. Every family member had something to say about the way we were doing things. But, ultimately, we always let my sister have the last say and let her decide on the way to do things.
And so it is..one week before the wedding and we can only pray that everything goes on smoothly

Don’t mention. Every girl should be treated he way how you want your mother and sisters to be treated. Appa and Amma brought me up with this teaching. A big good luck to you.

Cheryl, nice pic! Anyhoos, people will always try to “help” you see things their way but that’s life so it’s best to just smile politely and say thank you and then decide which is best for you, or in this case your sister. Life is complicated as it is, you might as well enjoy the ride with the people who are worth it

You look beautiful in that blue saree. Very beautiful, just like the other girls in that picture. Don’t get me wrong but I think you are what people call natural beauty. You look amazing witout heavy make up painted on your face. I know wedding planning can be stressful, especially when family members interupt with what they think is right and all but I like the way you and your family do. Let you sister to have the final saying in every matter. All the best and good luck on your sister’s wedding.
